MOMENT

 MOMENT

A walk had just ended,

It seemed like it took just a second to complete,

this tedious, hard working walk.

A day had just got over,

full of hard work and labor,

but it felt like only a minute had passed in the life's pathway.

The holiday season just got over and the new year just began,

but it felt like this long year and all it's ups and downs,

were just an hour's talk.

Here I am now waiting to face the inevitable death,

the conclusion of my long life.

It feels like this is the final note of my song which began almost a century ago,

but it seems like my whole life was just a single day's affair.
