The Danish Cookies
The Danish Cookie
Amidst the white covering
there was a child shivering
looking at the church bell
dreaming just to sit inside a warm cell
Lights sparkling in front of his eyes
as if they were the only thing which around him was nice
having nothing with him still there was a smile
which could have been seen from a thousand mile
but behind that smile there was pain
and a life from which nothing was to be gain
But amidst the misery and chilling snow
just a spark was needed to bring back that glow
On that street of England, a voice was heard
a cart was coming and it was appearing from that white ground and that glittering lights
It stopped by the boy and in a swift there was a box of Danish cookies in the hands of the boy
those eyes demonstrated uncountable emotions and that belly was not empty anymore.
Oh, just to mention the church bell ranged and Christmas had just began.
