Sitting around the fire all were present
seemingly not all moved along together
A did not like E as both of them were pronounced the same and were confused with one another.
O did not like Q as both of them look the same,
then there was G which was odd,
even H was there which was mocked for being "2 I's fused together"
Then there are even the brothers M and N.
Even the back benchers had joined with the couple of V and W.
L was considered royal
U was accepted by all
C was not straight
I always remained single,
X,Y and Z loved numbers more than there fellow letters
But even as all of them were so different they needed to come together to form a word.
Every word was possible when 26 of them were together.
But when even one of them was absent then the word count decreased by (please use PnC for the answer)
