 INSIDE A PLANE


"Tell me, Jo, what makes you excited about this trip," asked the captain.

"Sir, the people who will be boarding the plane make me the most excited," replied Jo.

"So, why a plane if all  you wanted was to see  people you could have worked in the train too?" Captain inquired

"The thing is that, on the plane, you see people who want to travel to heights and distances and there is a lot less disturbance. But if you say so, I will sure make a note of the train, but that time I will go as a passenger," replied Jo.

"Well, good luck to you in that adventure of yours, but I guess right now we both have a flight to catch." The captain continued. 

Both boarded the flight which took off within a few moments. After some time, passed on the flight was at cruise altitude and Jo and the other flight attendants took to the back of the plane to serve refreshments and attend to the queries of the travellers. The captain of the flight came out of his cabin to check on the passengers and get refreshed. He came up to Jo and asked, "So what did your eyes catch?"

Jo replied, "A lot till now, sir, but the process is not yet complete. I will surely let you know what I have learned from this whole experience of mine at the end of this flight."

 The captain laughed a bit and replied, "But be sure I want to hear everything about it." Jo shook his head, and the captain returned back to his cabin. 

After the flight landed at the airport. The captain met Jo and asked him about the analysis that he had made during the flight.  Joe replied 

"Sir, it was an interesting flight if you look at it from my point of view. The flight seemed to be the living embodiment of the entire world crammed into one chamber."

The captain looked at him in a confused state of mind and asked, "Do you care to elaborate?"

Jo replied, "What I mean is that sir, in this very plane I saw some moments that could literally change someone's perspective of looking at the world and their entire philosophy of understanding the world altogether.  This plane included everyone from a wealthy, experienced flight passenger with all tastes of luxury and wealth lying around for whom this was just another Thursday. On the other side, there was also the common first-timer who was not able to believe that he was travelling in a plane just to begin with, for whom the very idea of travelling like this is a lifelong dream come true. Then there is also the fact that there are people who are dealing with all sorts of stuff going on with them. Someone was so happy that person's face was glowing more than the sun, which is outside. There was also someone who was so depressed that it seemed as if that person was darker than the night sky outside. There was also the energy among the little kids and their excitement towards this whole new experience and what more life had to offer. On the other hand, some old people were smiling even though deep down they knew that this could be their last flight. Some places in the plane were filled with amazement and that feeling of joy that had young, wholehearted people smiling and laughing. There were also the quiet parts, which saw more experienced persons for whom this very idea of joy and excitement was packed under their costly blazers. I don't know sir, but to me, it feels like the entire life summed up.

AFTER EVERYTHING

      AFTER EVERYTHING  That random noise is still heard by my ears That dark sky with no shining star is what my eyes wish to see every night.  The peace around me craves that conflict on which humanity resided.  The bogus run for money is what now my legs want to run. This abundance of food only reminds me of the scarcity which prevailed. This freedom around me is more like a bondage to the past.  These days of community are the embodiment of the eras of conflict.  These people around me, reduced considerably are the truth behind the previous hoards of billions.  There lies the open sky which had a breath of fire some years ago. There lies the cleanest stream ever formed in a gazillion years, the baby of the chemicals thrown into the water.  Those who have survived the battle for satisfaction of human greed, now seem to me as weaklings.  These days of peace are the ongoing reminders of the glories of conquest.  Just some smil...

Colors

Colors Eyes are staring at that empty canvas right now Imaginations are running wild  Some are telling me to draw Others are telling me to just dip it in paint Different colors spread across me  A stroke of red reminds me of the desires that reside inside me.  Those unfulfilled promises still shine as bright as red.  Applying blue sky on the canvas reflects calmness that carries me the serenity that keeps me alive from all the noise and sadness that surrounds me. With a stroke of yellow, my eyes, like a movie projection, bring out the rhythm that I have been searching for.
